DJ WALLACE, DIRECTOR, GRANT COUNTY MUSEUM

DJ was born in 1950 in Grenada, Mississippi.  He relocated to Arkansas in 1980, and then to Sheridan in 2001.  His professional  path for thirty years took him into education, first as a teacher, then as an elementary school principal.

DJ's belief is that we have on of the finest museums in Arkansas, and one in which each citizen of Grant County can be proud.  His goal as museum director is to involve all of our patrons in the museum through exhibits, activities, and special events.  DJ's hope is that each visitor to the museum will take with him not only knowledge,  but also a sense of pride in his heritage after spending time with us.

Museum Staff members include Bobbie Lemons, Ron Gortney and Dixie Freeman
