The Grant County Museum also has a private foundation—the Grant County Museum Foundation. The Foundation has a 501-C-3 designation with the IRS. 

Its members are: Jim Lancaster, president; W. R. (Witt) Stephens Jr., chairman; Robert A. Simpson, secretary-treasurer;  Mary Beth Glover-Wilson, Virginia Harrington, Redmond Keisler, Dr. Bob Rushing, Murry Toler, W. Jackson Williams, Dr. Jack Irvin, Dr. Bob Slaughter, Ms. Jewell S. Mays and O.J. Ramick.

W.R. (Witt) Stephens, Jr. is chairman of the Foundation.		Jim Lancaster is president of the Foundation.
